Functional Medicine

In functional medicine, we help you understand the "what" and the "why" of your health and then together determine "how" to help you reach your health goals. IF labs are needed, this is NOT included in the individual or package pricing. An order will be given to take to your local lab. Lisa is a member of your medical team, but she is not replacing any members of your team. Therefore, you will need to continue to maintain all of your current medical providers, including your Primary Care Provider.

Up to 90 Minutes of Care

Often times in conventional medicine, the amount of time spent with the provider is 15 minutes or less. Lisa spends up to 90-minutes with her patients. This time is needed to help get to the root cause of issues and to develop an individualized treatment plan.

HSA and FSA Payment Available

We do NOT take insurance as functional medicine is often not reimbursed by insurance. Since we are a medical practice, you may use your HSA account to pay for services.

Make It Count Weight Management

The program is designed to help you build muscle, lose fat, and increase your metabolism. It is built around counting macro-nutrients (Macros), instead of calories, which include carbohydrates, fats, and proteins. Macros make up calories, but often we eat too much of one macro and not enough of the others, which can prevent weight loss. Eating a balance of macros, can help you to reach your goals.

Personalized Goals

There is nothing that you cannot eat, as long as you can fit it into your macro goals. Each week you have daily goals to meet for each of the macros to help reach your weight loss goals. You weigh-in weekly and the program is individualized to your needs as needed.

Not A Diet

This program is not a diet but rather a lifestyle change. The program is designed to help you build muscle while losing fat. The goal of the program is to help you achieve your weight goals and maintain them thru education, inspiration, and empowerment.
